Which 80’s sitcom used the Billy Joel’s hit “My Life” as its theme song during the opening credits?

  • Happy Days

  • The Golden Girls

  • Who’s the Boss?

Bosom Buddies

Answer: In 1980, Tom Hanks got his first break with the sitcom “Bosom Buddies,” an ABC show in which he and Peter Scolari played bachelors who disguise themselves as women in order to move into an all-female apartment house. The theme song for the opening credits was Billy Joel’s “My Life”, although it was a re-recorded version with Gary Bennett as the vocalist. Bosom Buddies flopped with critics and viewers, and ended after two seasons. Two years later, Hanks would star in film “Splash” that would launch his film career.
